THE PLACE
In the Jungfrau Region, at the foot of the Eiger, Grindelwald can be experienced on foot or by bike, on routes designed for sporting challenges, motivating challenges, contemplative strolls…
Relaxation for some, adrenalin for others, it’s a paradise for lovers of nature, wide open spaces and high mountains.
The Eiger and its famous north face, the Eiger Express to go higher and faster, the Alpentower to admire peaks over 4000m, the Schilton famous for its appearance in James Bond, the fearsome descent of the Lauberhorn to discover on foot, the Aletsch glacier, the pedestrian villages of Mürren and Wengen… it’s quite simple, everything here is mythical!
ACTIVITIES
Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe
Perched at an altitude of 3454m, this UNESCO Jungfrau-Aletsch World Heritage site is packed with activities for everyone:
• the Sphinx and its incredible panoramic view,
• the Ice Palace,
• the plateau, the starting point for many walks in the eternal snows, particularly glacier treks…
Summer skiing is also available here.
Grindelwald First
At an altitude of 2168m, this is a unique spot for memorable adventures: launch yourself into the void on the giant First Flieger zip line (4 people can go together), which takes you after 800m at 84km/h to the Schreckfeld intermediate station; walk along the First Cliff Walk rock face to reach a spectacular observation platform. The views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau are magnificent.
Männlichen
Easily accessible by gondola from Grindelwald (and Wengen), this summit is also a great starting point for numerous mountain hikes. Join Alpiglen or the Kleine Scheidegg, the Liselotte theme trail or the Royal Walk.
Trail Running
The Jungfrau Region is an excellent destination for trail runners, from forest and meadow trails to more demanding routes in the Alpine landscape.
It’s all the more enjoyable in spring and summer, when the pistes are less busy than in the high season.
MOUNTAIN BIKE
Let yourself be guided from Grindelwald to the Petite Scheidegg or Bachalp lake, from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren, on the Hasliberg circuits… the most impressive mountain scenery in the world!

From Paris :
• Direct TGV (3 hours) from Paris to Vallorbe
• Then transfer by minivan organised by FP to Grindelwald (approx. 2 hours)
